Private messaging creates encrypted, ephemeral rooms for a defined collaboration window. Rooms can be closed and destroyed when the exchange is complete.
Main flow
- Create room
- Invite participants
- Exchange minimum
- Record findings
- Destroy room
- Create a room for a specific purpose.
- Share access only with intended participants through an appropriate channel.
- Exchange the minimum necessary information.
- Confirm that required findings have been recorded in the case.
- Destroy the room when the session ends.
Retention
Ephemeral messaging is not a substitute for the case record. Preserve decisions and evidence that must remain auditable before destroying a room, while avoiding unnecessary copies of sensitive chat.
